Anger Management Class ScheduleMy anger management classes and anger management certification trainings focus on relevant content. I aim for interaction and focused discussion, making room for everybody to participate without shame or blame, developing their own creative styles to process anger and teach anger management. Aggressive displays of anger are a socialized habit, and therefore can be replaced with new behavior. Anger management classes help students acquire this new behavior. By understanding anger and its consequences, both physiological and social, by learning to recognize how destructive outbursts of anger manifest in our lives, we can begin to apply anger management techniques. Reducing stress through stress management helps decrease the tendency to get angry. Developing better emotional intelligence leads to increased self-awareness, self-esteem, and empathy--forestalling angry outbursts. Learning to communicate honestly and respectfully frequently defuses potentially explosive situations and can end ongoing bickering and improve intimate relationships.
